18th Century Hunting Eagle Micro Mosaic Plaque

A micro mosaic set in silver depicting an eagle grasping a rabbit. The design is a recreation of a part of the title page of "Various Birds & Beasts Drawn From Life" by Francis Barlow, a 17th century painter and engraver.

Circa 1780 - 1800

Accompanied by original fitted box
