Created by Cartier in collaboration with the Friends of Soldiers & Sailors organization after World War II, this brooch features a five-pointed mirrored star. At its center sits a yellow gold toned American eagle, encircled by the inscription “New York State" and "Friends of Soldiers Sailors.” Below the eagle is an enameled American flag mounted on a central post, its colors reflecting off the star's surface. The center symbol is en tremblant
